  • Overview

    Sope is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Practice Group. In her formative years at the firm, she had professional exposures in the Intellectual Property and Corporate Commercial Practice Groups of the Firm.

    She was actively involved in advising Clients on Intellectual property prosecution and commercialization, regulatory and administrative actions, providing company secretarial support to corporates as well as preparing, reviewing and advising Clients on agreements arising from corporate and commercial transactions.

    Sope presently advises and represents a range of local, multinational and international corporates as well as government agencies on causes bordering on debt recovery, criminal investigation and prosecution of corporate fraud, forgery and breach of trust, medical negligence, regulatory and industrial compliance and disputes arising from contractual and corporate governance relationships.

    As a member of the Practice Group, she has handled briefs requiring representation in commercial and civil litigation, criminal prosecution, arbitration and mediation. She services Clients within Financial, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Energy, Tourism, Health and Pharmaceutical Sectors of the Economy.

    A member of the Energy and Infrastructure Sector, her interest and research experience spans across petroleum and downstream energy industries (including gas and power sector), the legal framework for project finance of these industries and opportunities for investment in the Renewable Energy Industry in Nigeria.  She is simply an astute young professional, who by dint of her mental aptitude and physical application achieves client satisfaction.
