An esteemed grand master of the Energy & Infrastructure industry, Taiwo is highly respected by clients and peers for his accurate intelligence on industry developments, and his advisory on big-ticket transactions. He is also a highly sought-after speaker at such public policy-influencing, high-level industry events as the African Finance Corporation and the Infrastructure Summit on Energy and Infrastructure Solutions.   

Taiwo’s expertise embraces the entire Oil & Gas value chain, from establishment to financing; mergers and acquisitions; and divestments of interests in the sector. He negotiates, drafts, and advises on the many commercial contracts relevant to the Energy Sector, such as the rights and obligations of parties relating to international investments, as well as structure, regulatory and legal frameworks for participating in Nigeria’s energy space. 

Having started his career at JEE as a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group, Taiwo is well-versed in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. These skills, together with his secondment experience at Norton Rose and Fulbright LLP, make him a complete commercially aware lawyer.
