Cornelius is a Managing Associate of the Firm and heads the Abuja Office. He also doubles as the Deputy Head, Energy & Infrastructure Sector.
He is a Notary Public, Federal Republic of Nigeria with cognate experience in Commercial Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Asset Tracing and Debt Recovery. He Prosecutes, Defends, and Litigates on Intellectual Property Rights of Individuals and Big Corporates, both at the Trademark Registry and Appellate Courts.
His expertise extends to Advisory on Energy and Infrastructure, Real Estate Investment and Finance, Title Documentation, Real Estate Dispute Resolution, Review of Agreements and Contractual Documentation, Perfection of Title and Post Completion Deals.Cornelius is vast in Crisis Management, Risk Assessment and Profiling, Assisting in Complying with the Nigerian Anti Money Laundering Laws and Obligations spelt out by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC), Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML), amongst others; as well as advising on compliance with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), The UK Bribery Act and International Best Practice.
