Pathcare Nigeria Limited a market leader in the field of human laboratory diagnostics operates six laboratories and twenty-one blood collection points across Nigeria. It has a special focus on public-private partnerships and a strong market position based on its high-quality service, the breadth of its test portfolio, and its nationwide network.
To facilitate the Synlab deal, our firm advised PathCare Nigeria Limited on the divestment of 26 percent stake held by PathCare South Africa. The recent acquisition will see PathCare Nigeria Limited’s customers benefiting from an enhanced and extended portfolio of specialised tests drawing from the breadth and depth of Synlab’s international expertise. It is also expected that the investment will have a positive impact on healthcare development in the Country and reduce medical tourism offshore.
