Mosopefoluwa Falana

Sope is a Senior Associate in the Energy & Projects Practice and a Deputy Sector Head of Energy & Infrastructure sector. In her formative years at the firm, she had professional exposure in the Firm's Intellectual Property and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Groups.

Mosopefoluwa (“Sope”) Falana is Jackson Etti & Edu’s Senior Associate in the Energy & Projects Practice and doubles as Deputy Sector Head, Energy & Infrastructure sector, but she brings to these roles her formative years in JEE’s Intellectual Property and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice divisions, where she advised clients on IP prosecution and commercialisation, amongst many more tasks. The result is that Sope has a truly versatile, well-rounded, in-depth legal expertise and business awareness. 

She was actively involved in advising Clients on Intellectual property prosecution and commercialization, regulatory and administrative actions, providing company secretarial support to corporates as well as preparing, reviewing, and advising Clients on agreements arising from corporate and commercial transactions. 

Today, Sope advises and represents a range of local, multinational, and international corporates as well as petroleum and downstream energy industries (including the gas and power sector) on project finance and investment in Nigeria’s Renewable Energy Industry. She also advises on a wide range of general commercial matters from general legal and contract advisory to real estate, employment, and tax. 

She is simply an astute young professional, who by dint of her mental aptitude and physical application achieves client satisfaction.
