Jackson, Etti & Edu appoints Folasade Olusanya as Co-Managing Partner
We are pleased to share exciting news about some changes in our Firm’s leadership structure. We are proud to announce that Folasade Olusanya has been appointed as Co-Managing Partner effective January 1st, 2024, serving as Chair of the Firm’s Leadership Team and Chair of the Partnership. She will work alongside Koye Edu who as Co-Managing Partner will chair the Executive Management of our Firm. The leadership transition represents the culmination of an internal succession planning process initiated in 2021, commencing with leadership changes of the Firm’s Heads of Departments.
Fola will be primarily responsible for overseeing the development of all the practice areas, sectors, talent management, knowledge management and growth, while Koye will continue to oversee the management of the Firm’s key clients program, business development, human resources & people services and information technology. Both leaders will be responsible for the Firm’s strategy and will both continue to serve our esteemed clients.
Fola brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in Banking & Finance, Corporate Mergers & Acquisition and served as Head of the Firm’s Corporate Commercial Department for over 20 years. In recognition of her expertise and leadership capabilities, Fola was invited to lead the technical committee that played a significant role in the development and passage of the Business Facilitation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023.
