Immigration, Employment & Private Client Services

Africa’s fast-growing economy brings the need for robust immigration, employment, and private client advisory. JEE’s in-depth expertise of multiple jurisdictions across Africa enables us to guide clients through all the necessary legislation to protect their interests and respect their employees.

Immigration Advisory & Private Client Services

JEE’s Immigration Advisory and Private Client Services team comprises talented lawyers and paralegals with vast experience of inbound and outbound immigration services and corresponding regulatory matters, as well as tailored will writing, estate planning, investment migration, and trusts services.

We serve clients across a wide variety of industry sectors of the Nigerian economy and pride ourselves on the breadth and depth of our expertise. Our firm’s track record of excellence regarding Nigerian immigration law is internationally respected, and recognised by such prestigious organisations as Who’s Who Legal: Corporate Immigration.

Our Immigration Advisory & Private Client Services include:

  • Work authorisation and work permits: We procure Expatriate Quota Approval, operating licenses and permits, and assist clients in diverse industries to process work permits (CERPAC, ECOWAS permit, etc). Our services also extend to Free Trade Zone Compliance and filing on monthly returns.

  • Documentation: If you are going to another jurisdiction to study or work, we assist with the procurement, authentication, and legalisation of all vital documents required.

  • Consular services: We offer trusted consular services from Nigeria to Angola; Egypt; Kenya; the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the Schengen Area; South Africa; the UAE; the UK; and the USA.

  • Visas: We obtain visas–on–arrival, business visas, and temporary work permits for our clients.

  • West Africa immigration: Our Immigration and Regulatory Advisory Service now extends to West Africa’s Benin, Ghana, and Togo, where we provide the full suite of work permit authorisations and ancillary services.

  • Expatriate cultural orientation: Overseas business assignments and employment relocation can be unsettling and daunting, albeit exciting. However, with JEE’s quality information and cultural awareness preparation, we can help clients moving in and out of Nigeria successfully manage their expectations and make the entire process less onerous.

Investment Migration

With the expansion of globalisation and remote working, investment migration offers great opportunities to geographically mobile businesspeople and investors. Wealthy individuals and families can invest substantially in countries other than their countries of origin to acquire citizenship. Many countries now offer direct citizenship or residency (with the right to citizenship after a period ranging from 1 to 10 years) through such investment, and it is the fastest way for successful investors to become ‘global citizens’ and give their family access to a good quality of life.
