Tolu is a seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience in legal practice, specializing in intellectual property law, regulatory matters, data protection, and taxation. She has expertise in managing and protecting IP portfolios across Africa, ASEAN, and the Middle East, with in-depth knowledge of over 40 African jurisdictions.

Tolu is an expert in data privacy, advising on frameworks like the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and GDPR, and guiding organizations through multi-jurisdictional compliance challenges. She leads a team focused on brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, digital compliance, and cybersecurity, while also specializing in domain name management. Tolu launched the firm's Technology Start-Up Initiative, supporting Nigeria's tech ecosystem, and contributes to shaping the country's digital economy through policy influence and several committee roles, including the Government Liaison Committee of IPLAN and the INTA Programming Advisory Council, and played a role in drafting Nigeria's Geographical Indication Law.

Tolu is a dedicated advocate for women's empowerment in the legal profession and has led initiatives through the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Women Forum. She's a member of several professional organizations, including CITN, IPLAN, NBA, and INTA.
