He has experience advising and representing global brand owners in intellectual property matters across Nigeria and Africa.
He is a key member of the Brand Protection & Anticounterfeiting Unit within the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice of Jackson, Etti & Edu, and the firm’s FMCG Sector team supporting businesses within the sector.
Victor regularly represents clients in high stakes anticounterfeiting/IP enforcement matters across vital sectors of the economy, including FMCG, Health & Pharmaceuticals, Tourism, Aviation, ICT, and Financial Services. He also leads teams in developing and executing successful anticounterfeiting strategies for well-known brands, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Nigerian markets and strong regulatory relationships to navigate counterfeiting and enforcement challenges for brand owners in Africa.
A NITDA Scholar in the Cyber Law LL.M program of the Nigeria Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the University of Lagos, Akoka, Victor is exploring the intersections of technology and brand protection, using modern tools in combating counterfeiting and improving brand recognition, reputation and value in the marketplace.
Victor is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and serves on the Intellectual Property Committee of the NBA Section on Business Law.
