Anita has experience advising on trademark and copyright protection, including conducting registrability searches, managing prosecution processes and developing effective intellectual property portfolio strategies. She also supports clients in negotiating and drafting a broad range of intellectual property agreements, including licensing, assignment, coexistence, confidentiality and other commercial arrangements relating to intellectual property.

In the area of data protection, Anita advises organisations across diverse sectors on compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and other applicable data protection laws. She has experience supporting organisations with data protection compliance audits, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA’S), regulatory registrations, privacy governance programmes, and the preparation and review of data protection policies, agreements and other compliance documentation. Anita also delivers data protection advisory services and privacy awareness training, helping organisations strengthen their compliance frameworks, promote responsible data handling practices and effectively manage privacy risks.
