Britney Muoghalu

Britney is an Associate in the Intellectual Property Department at Jackson, Etti & Edu. She has experience across the firm’s Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Commercial, Banking and Finance, Regulatory Compliance, and Intellectual Property practice groups, giving her a broad understanding of the legal and commercial issues that affect businesses.

Through her rotational training, she gained experience in legal research and advisory work relating to fund structures, labour law, public procurement, corporate transactions, governance and regulatory compliance, as well as practical exposure to company secretarial matters.

In the Intellectual Property Department, Britney advises on matters relating to the protection, management and commercialisation of brands and other intellectual property assets. Her interests span corporate, commercial and intellectual property law, with a particular focus on the intersection of law, innovation and creativity.

Britney holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Afe Babalola University and graduated with First Class Honours from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus. She is also an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (AcArb).

She is committed to helping businesses navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks while protecting and maximising the value of their intellectual property and other commercial assets.
