Britney is a Trainee Associate at Jackson, Etti & Edu, with experience across the firm's Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Commercial, Banking and Finance, Regulatory Compliance, and Intellectual Property practice groups. Through her rotational training, she has advised on legal research relating to Fund structures, labour law, public procurement, corporate transactions, governance, and regulatory compliance, while gaining practical experience in company secretarial matters.
She currently works with the firm's Intellectual Property team, where she is developing expertise in the protection and commercialization of brands and other intellectual property assets.
Britney holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Afe Babalola University and graduated with a First Class from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus. She is also an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (AcArb).
Her interests span corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law, with a particular passion for the intersection of law, innovation, and creativity. She is committed to helping businesses navigate complex regulatory frameworks while protecting and maximizing the value of their assets.
