Chinwe Ogban

Chinwe Ogban is the current head of our Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, leveraging over 10 years of industry experience to benefit our blue-chip clients. She is a skilled expert in IP prosecution and enforcement across Africa, particularly in managing large trademark and patent portfolios, anti-counterfeiting, and infringement strategies.

Chinwe excels in drafting complex IP agreements, has expertise in NOTAP and NAFDAC-related matters,  and advises on commercial IP transactions, trademark registrations, franchising, licensing, domain name registrations, and IP policy formulation.

She is a thought leader in the IP space, authoring globally commended articles and contributing to publications such as the Kluwer Law International Manual and The Franchise Law Review.

Chinwe is a member of several professional organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Trademark Attorneys (CITMA) and the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI). She has also moderated discussions on trademark rights and domain name damages for the International Trademark Association (INTA).
