Janet Adio

Janet is an Associate in the Corporate Commercial Department at Jackson, Etti & Edu. Her work spans transactional, advisory and contentious matters, giving her a broad perspective on the legal and commercial issues that shape business decisions.

Her experience includes corporate and financing transactions, intellectual property portfolio management, regulatory compliance and governance matters, data protection advisory and dispute resolution. Her contentious work has also included brand protection, anti-counterfeiting and intellectual property disputes. Across these areas, her work is distinguished by the depth of her analysis and her ability to look beyond the immediate legal question to its broader implications for the client’s business.

Janet was the Best Graduating Student in the College of Law at Joseph Ayo Babalola University and later earned First Class Honours at the Nigerian Law School, receiving awards in recognition of her academic performance.
